2020 IS DIFFERENT
We all know that 2020 is different (harder) for many reasons.
PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THE FESTIVAL PLAN IS SUBJECT TO LAST MINUTE CHANGES.

Below, we fill you in on the reasons and potential changes.

COVID19 ADJUSTMENTS
​
Although currently (10.07.20), the official French regulations allow larger gatherings, we decided to cap the total number of Attendees (Mentors, Participants and Guests) at 50. We are sorry that we won't be able to welcome more of you but the safety of Attendees and the local community is our primary concern.
​
For this reason, it is likely that the cost of tickets will be slightly higher than in previous years, as some of the costs will be divided between fewer participants.
​
In the case of the COVID19 situation worsening and the WBF2020 cancellation, we will process full ticket refunds. Please read the refund policy here (in English only).
​
It is also possible that the difficult travel situation around Europe will prevent some of our Mentors, Participants or Guests from making it to Fontainebleau. We will make last-minute adjustments to the plan to make the most of the situation but we ask for your patience and understanding that this year things might just not want to go smoothly.
​
All Attendees will receive suggested COVID19 travel guidelines and social distancing guidelines via email ahead of the event.

Please remember that our collective safety is in our hands and it comes first before anything else.

VENUE CHANGES
​
The good news is that because the event is smaller than in previous years, we will be based at the amazing Fontaineblhostel Hostel & Camping in La Chapelle-la-Reine with a cosy common room, a fully equipped kitchen and modern bathroom facilities.
​
The somewhat worse news is that this year we cannot rent a big indoor venue to hold our talks or yoga. Therefore we will be relying on good weather to do everything outside, or we will share the common room with other occupants of Fontaineblhostel.
​
More good news is that in case we can't climb outdoors due to rain, we will still provide all our Attendees with a one day Karma Climbing Gym pass.
